TENNIS, EDUCATION and YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
Inner City Youth Opportunities is a local Cincinnati nonprofit 501 (C) 3 founded in 1993 by Co- Founders Jeanne and Philip Bell. ICYO was modeled after the Israel Tennis Centers that enhanced the development of Israeli youth through tennis and education.
Inner City Youth Opportunities of Cincinnati, OH offers a variety of programs to low-income inner city youth in grades K – 12: After School Homework Assistance & Tutoring with Emphasis on Early Childhood Literacy, ICYO Tom Horn Summer Tennis Camp, Sponsored Tennis Opportunity at Five Seasons Cincinnati EX Academy, Summer Camps (Camp Ernst, Camp Joy, CNC Long Branch Farm Camp, New Day Ranch Horse Therapy Camp), Year Round Educational Field Trips, Gardening, Cooking Classes and Transportation provided to and from all programs at no charge to our ICYO families.
These programs provide life skills through education, mentoring, tennis, and relationship developmental asset building for youth who are struggling with poverty, behavioral, emotional, and social challenges. What ICYO provides families is a year-round, fully subsidized, academic intervention that supports the family, the child, the schools and the community.
Contact Jeanne Bell at email@example.com for more information on how you can enroll your child, volunteer, become a program sponsor, help with fundraising, or other ways to become involved with our ICYO family.
The mission of Inner City Youth Opportunities is to educate and mentor low income Cincinnati inner-city youth year-round by providing a safe environment and programs to prepare them for a successful future.
Our vision is to develop a strong program to empower Inner City Youth to confidently lead positive, productive lives. Our goal is for every child to reach their full potential and discover their abilities and talents. Education is the foundation of success and we believe all children should have opportunities to make their dreams a reality.
